New York Hall of Science

Yesterday we were invited by our friends, the Andersons, to go with them to the New York Hall of Science. We had such a great time-we got there around 11:00 and we didn't leave until almost 4:00. This place was perfect to take little ones to, it had a lot of hands on things for them to do.
The first thing Abi noticed was the big rocket out the window...we didn't make it outside to look at them up close, but she really liked them.
There were a lot of fun little educational activities like this one-how does the ball bounce differently on the different surfaces? I don't think Abi learned much, but she had a good time!

She has a bit of an obsession with steering wheels, so she was so excited to play on this race car.

The rock wall was a big hit with all the kids...

even the big kids!!! Nice climbin' Rob!

Abi couldn't quite do it on her own just yet.

Then it was off to the ropes and pulleys exhibit-we're still not quite sure what this one did, but the kids liked it.

There was a Molecule room that had a cool ceiling-so I had to get a pic.

Busy scientists combining elements into new molecules.

Curious little minds!

Nice bubble, babe!

If you look closely you can see a mirror image of me and the stroller-this was one of my favorite exhibits.

It was such a fun place to go that we hope to go back to-we didn't get to do everything that we wanted to before the kids needed to go.
