We had a great time celebrating Abi's birthday last weekend, literally all weekend! Friday, on her actual birthday we had our own little party with cake, presents, and singing. She was so excited to FINALLY be turning 3!
Saturday we had a birthday party for her. Steve had the great idea of renting a bounce house and put it in our social room. As you can see from the pics, it barely fit, but it was a BIG hit! We didn't really plan any other activites because we figured the kids would want to jump the whole time-we were right. We did, however, get them out long enough to sing "Happy Birthday" and decorate cupcakes and to open presents. Abi got a lot of fun presents that she hasn't put down since.
Sunday we went to my parent's and had a fun waffle dinner and then opened a few more gifts and had a beautiful butterfly cake that Corrine made special for Abi-she thought it was the coolest thing!
All in all, I think Abi had a great birthday weekend. She keeps asking me if she's still 3 though, it's kind of funny.
