Visitors, October 2011

We had a fun few days with some Arveseth visitors, it was great! It all started with our nephews, Brock and Corvin, flying out to stay with us for a couple of days. The day after they got here the University of Utah was playing football at PITT so Steve and the boys drove to Pittsburgh for the game. There they met up with a bunch of Arveseths-look at this great lookin' group! And BONUS-the UTES won!!! (Utah 3, Pitt-ZERO!)

On another day, we took Brock and Corv to the Baltimore Aquarium. My kids love this place...it's huge, full of fish, and lots of fun. Jas had fun sitting next to Brock on the way down, he especially loved playing with Brock's seatbelt :D
We saw these three little fishies that got out of their tank...
The whole clan on one of the big escalators going up another level...
We walked around the harbor for a bit and then got a bite to eat before heading back home.

We wore these two out! They were both gone before we even made it to the freeway

On Sunday the whole group came to church with us-YAY!-and then came over for lunch afterwards. It was so fun to have everyone in our home and show them where we've been hanging out for the last 2 years.
We also went up to Allentown where Steve's brother, Matt, and his family moved to a few months ago (about an hour and a half drive from our place). We hung out at their home for a little while and then we all headed out to Bertucci's for dinner. It was so fun to be with everyone. The kids especially loved having grandma and grandpa to hang all over.
We had a great time, it's always so refreshing to see family and helps us manage living so far away. We haven't had any visitors since, we're ready for the next ones...anyone...anyone?

How awesome for you guys to have all of your family in town - and that you got to go to a Utah game so close. Sounds like so much fun.

Too bad they won :)
