Emma's Special Day

Emma's Blessing Day

Part of the reason for our trip to Utah was to bless Emma with our families here. Sunday we had everyone (about 50 people) up to my parent's home for the special occassion. We had just the perfect day, the weather was beautiful, my parent's new bishop (just sustained yesterday)was able to make it on the short notice, and we were surrounded by our families.

Steve performed a beautiful blessing with our dads, my grandpa, and all of our brothers (a total of 11 men) in the circle. Then everyone stuck around and we grilled burgers and hotdogs. It really was a perfect day!!!

Just waiting to get started

The kids had lots of fun on all the toys in the backyard

Tim and my dad were nice enough to do the grilling for us-here's Tim working his magic with the burgers.

Kelsey and Aubrey became instant friends over hotdogs...

I like this picture of the kids table mainly because of the drinks-they all hurried and got them before their parents made it back outside-Mmmmm, Coke!

Mike liked his meal so much that he had to take a pic-luckily (or unfortunately) my camera was the only one nearby...

He ate everything on his plate!!!

All in all it was a great day and we were good and worn out by the end of it!

Emma looked so beautiful in that dress! We miss you guys, but it looks like you are having tons of fun! Dane can't wait to play with your girls in a couple weeks!

I am glad you were able to bless Emma around so many of your friends and family. That dress that Emma is wearing is beautiful.
