Last night was our ward's Halloween party. We had a great time! They had bobbing for apples, fishing, donuts on a string eating games, hot dogs, a childrens parade and, of course, the wonderful Trunk-or-Treat. The weather has been really nice out here (low 70s-not to rub it in all of you in Utah who got snowed on yesterday) so it was in the parking lot of the church. This was Abi's first experience trick or treating and it sure didn't take her long to realize what a cool deal it was. Steve took her around to the cars while Emma and I handed out candy at our car. Steve said Abi was mad going to the first two cars and didn't want to walk up to the people handing out candy, but once she realized all she had to do was walk up to them and look cute she would get a treat-before long she was cruising from car to car without having to be encouraged.
A very happy Pebbles, apparently!
We started out with the games and eating-Tammy McMullin and her son, Isaac, helped Abi out with the pumpkin beanbag toss.
These pumpkins were Abi's favorite part of the decorations, she kept trying to pick them up and play with them...
I wanted to get her picture on the hay bale, but didn't think about how pokey that would feel on Abi's little bottom, but you can tell from the pic that it wasn't very comfortable!
These two little ones just kept finding eachother all night, they have lots of fun together.
It was a lot of fun to actually get to hand out candy, I love seeing all the little kids in their costumes-especially since I know quite a few of them from being in Primary. I've been waiting 71/2 years for this, for some reason we never get trick-or-treaters, so I was in heaven!
Happy Halloween!!!

Hi Hillary. I'm so glad you visited our blog! The pictures of your girls were so cute! Alex is going to be a punk rocker for Halloween...if I can get him to hold still. Glad things are going well for you guys. We miss CT, but love it here in Iowa. If you are ever passing through, you're welcome to come stay!
I love the picture of Emma smiling! They both looked so cute.
Oh, I didn't see Emma's darling little outfit! Peebles--how cute and very unique I must say!
