HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
This is one of my favorite holidays-it's a day to remember how truly blessed we are and to be grateful for all the wonderful people in our lives. I think we need more special days to focus on these things. I wanted to make a list of some of the things that I am feeling especially thankful for today!
  • Airplanes: Thanks to the wonderful invention of airplanes/air travel, I am able to see my parents today. They are currently on a plane on their way here to celebrate Thanksgiving with my little family.

  • Online grocery shopping...thanks to peapod.com I was able to get all of my Thanksgiving day groceries without having to take my girls to Stop and Shop and brave the crowds-instead they delivered them right up to my kitchen table!

  • My friends! They are really the reason that we are still living out here in Connecticut instead of me dragging Steve back to Utah once his internship was over.(So I would say it's a safe bet that Steve is thankful for my friends too!)

  • The internet-It is such a great way to stay in touch with loved ones far away-especially to see the cute pictures of all the little ones that change so fast!

  • My whole extended family-my and Steve's parents, all of our siblings, and all of our cute nieces and nephews! We love them so much and are so grateful for everything they do for us and our kids, they are the best family ever...now, some of you may dispute this and say your families are the best ever, but I may have to disagree with you on that one.

  • And what I am most thankful for today is these guys...I don't know what my life would be without them and I don't want to know. I love Steve, Abi, and Emma so much and am so thankful to be blessed with such a wonderful family!!!

I agree....I'm not thankful for your friends! Come home! It's a pain gettting text messages at 5:30AM from Steven on a Saturday morning! At least if you lived here we'd be on the same time schedule. We miss you guys!
