A little Oasis in the middle of Downtown SLC

For my birthday, Steve and the girls got me a gift certificate for a massage and a pedicure from Sanctuary Day Spa at the Gateway Mall. Well, today was the big day, the day of cashing in on my gift. The day I discovered the hidden little oasis in the middle of downtown.

First thing this morning I headed over to the Sanctuary Day spa and thus began the most relaxing 2 hours I have had in as long as I can remember.

The massage was first. I think I was pretty much hypnotized or something like that the whole hour...oooh, it was HEAVEN! I have only had one massage before in my life and the girl talked the whole time, it was sooo annoying. Well, today the girl only said something right at first to make sure the pressure was ok and then I was a goner. It was sooo wonderful!!!

After the massage it was on to the pedicure. Boy did I need one, my feet have been so dry and cracked since coming back to the dry state that is Utah. It felt so nice to have my feet rubbed and now my feet are super soft. I love pedicures-if you've never had one, you need to go now and get one!

Thanks Steve, Abi and Emma for my wonderful morning of relaxation today!!!!
