Halloween Kick Off

We decided it was time to get everyone in the Halloween mood, so we had a Halloween Party for Abi, Emma, and some of their cousins/friends. We had a great time. We started off decorating some bags to prepare for a great candy hunt. The kids did a great job finding all the candy-you can bet they didn't leave one little scrap of candy on the floor.

After the kids cleaned up all the candy we decided to play some pin the face on the pumpkin (I figured handing 10 young kids knives to carve their own pumpkins wouldn't be the best idea!). Most of the kids didn't want to wear the blind fold, but they still had fun putting the eyes, nose and mouths on the pumpkin. We got some great looking results!!!

After all that excitement we needed a break so we paused for some cookies and juice boxes.

Then, it was back to the fun...each kid got their own glow stick, then we turned out the lights and brought out a bunch of balloons. The kids went WILD!

It was fun to get the kids all dressed up and see all the cute costumes everyone had.
