fashionable

Sorry to all of you, my loyal blog readers, we just really aren't that interesting these days! I don't have much to blog about, but I've been told I need to update my blog, so here ya go...

My girls have started caring more and more about what they wear and how their hair is done, etc...so I've taken a few pics of them over the last couple of weeks at their most "fashionable" moments. (These were all taken with my cell phone, so please excuse the poor quality)

This one was taken a while ago, but I came across it while I was doing this post and thought I should definitely post a pic of my little princesses!

Emma has perfected the model "Pouty Look"

(I can't figure out why it's underlining all of my words-weird!)

Abi's latest request for hair-do's is curls! She loves her hair all curly in ringlets.

Emma's hair is getting so long, we've bee n trying out piggy tails and pony tails. I think they look so cute on her, but they definitely don't last too long-she's too wild of a child!

I hope that will hold you (Corrine-just teasing!) over until something exciting happens! Believe me, I hope something exciting happens soon too!

Kate also cares about what she wears and it drives me CRAZY! she has to pick out what she wears everyday down to the sock and underwear and if i buy something not pink or she simply doesnt like it she will NOT wear it. Funny things the girls say...

Emma: "Mom, if you were invisible I could see the carrot in your head!" She's onto me, she knows I have a carrot for a brain!
Abi: "Look at all that snow! It looks like magic falling out of the sky!"
Emma:"The rich guy likes zucchini." Besides just being completely random, the funny thing about this is the way she says it, "Da Reech Guy likes zoo-kenny"
Abi:"Sometimes I start talking and I just can't stop!!" She told this to a friend of ours over dinner last week
I was making Emma lunch yesterday and said to her, "do you want a peanut butter or a turkey sandwich?" She told me she wanted a "Piece of butter sandwich with Yellow ketchup" aka: peanut butter sandwich with mustard. She's never had this combo before and I left the mustard off yesterday too-YUCK!
This morning I asked Abi what she wants to be when she grows up and she replied with, "A GROWN UP!"
Emma started climbing up on the back of our couch the other day and jumping down onto the seats. I told her to stop doing that and she yelled back at me, "GO SHOWER!!!" Makes me wonder what that girl is up to when I'm not watching her!
Abi needed a napkin and I told her she could get one out of the pantry and that they were on the bottom shelf on top of the box of silverware (plastic utensils-but I didn't think she'd understand that) and she turns to me and says, "it's PLASTICWARE."
Yesterday morning I was getting Emma out of her crib and Abi walked in and sadly said to Emma,"Emma, I sorry I'm too short to get you out."
We were in the elevator and it stopped at a floor before ours. Abi took a big step forward to get off and I told her that this wasn't our floor and not to get out. She turned to me and told me "Mom, I was just doing my MOVE!"
Abi came over to me humming "I Am A Child of God" and I said, oh, you hum so well. She quickly responded with, "I'm not humming, I'm doing the violin part!" Then she started the "violin part" over and led into the singing part. So funny!
Last night when I was putting Abi to bed she turned to me and said, "mommy, I love you because you're berry, berry, berry sweet!"
Yesterday I made pancakes for the girls for breakfast. Abi took her first bite and turned to me and said, "Well done!"
Me: "did you know that penguins eat fish?" Abi: "No, penguins eat poptarts!" Now she's sitting at the table trying to explain to her little penguin why he can't have his own poptart for breakfast.
On the way to the dentist this morning I told Abi that she'd do awesome. She started crying and said, "I'm sad cuz I'm NOT awesome!"
Abi: "Mom, you're a small creature." Thanks, I think...
Abi(after taking her clothes off one day), "mom, sometimes it's hard to be naked!"
