We didn't do a whole lot, so I won't bore you with all the details, but there were two events that I think are blog worthy. The first one being Abi's first camping trip. Steve has been wanting to take her camping for while now and he finally got his chance. He took Abi to Snow Canyon just outside of St. George. They had a great time! They got there kind of late due to a torrential downpour, so they didn't get to roast hot dogs or marshmallows. Once they got the tent all set up they explored the campground a bit and then Abi wanted to go to sleep (which she did quite quickly!). But the next morning they were able to get out for a mile hike and ate breakfast on the trail-which Abi thought was really fun-and then headed back to the condo to find Emma and me. They can't wait to get out and do another camping trip-hopefully with the hot dogs and marshmallows this time :)
The other fun thing we did was a waterfight in the backyard. We set up the kiddie pool for the girls to play in since it was SO hot...well, Abi didn't want to let the hose go unused, so she turned it on us. It wasn't too bad though, it actually felt really good to cool down.
Notice no mercy from Steve? Abi's throwing water on him while he's spraying her with the hose. This was pretty funny! Emma didn't want to get involved, so she kind of kept her distance.
