"no, it hardly ever snows here!"
"Oh, we may get a few small storms here or there, mostly in February."
We're lucky to get more than 2 or 3 storms a winter."
These are common phrases we heard when we moved out here from lots of different people. Well, Saturday we experienced our SECOND Nor'easter since moving out here-so crazy! We ended up with 25 inches of snow!!!!! I am so glad it was on a Saturday, we ended up just having a relaxing day playing in the snow, shoveling, and letting the girls try out the inner tubes we bought them two years ago (we still hadn't broken them in yet).
We were supposed to head up to Connecticut for the weekend but decided that the driving may be a little dicey in 2 feet of the white stuff. Just like the last nor'easter that blew through here in December-it ruined our plans. We've decided that we can't plan another trip up there until winter is over because we think our plans are what cause the storms to come! Oh well, we'll get up there soon enough.
For now we'll just enjoy the deep deep snow!

I guess a snow blower sounds good about now! Who would have thought that in order for your kids to play in the snow you would have to move from Utah to PA!
Nor'easter #3 and the largest snow fall in PA history, do we have you to thank for this? This is our 7th winter on the east coast and we have NEVER seen a winter like this!
I hope you are having a fun day with Steve home. Maybe we can get together again in the spring, I think it will take that long for the snow to melt and roads to clear : )
