My little monkey turns 2!!!

And he is SUCH a two year old! Terribly independent. Terribly mischievous. Terribly busy. Terribly sweet. AND Terribly cute! This guy keeps me on my toes ALL day long, from 5 AM (yep, you read that right, ever since we took away the binki he's been punishing us by getting up TERRIBLY early!) until he crashes around 7:30. He's even trying to do away with naps...he's only taken two this week and it's THURSDAY!

Getting ready to open gifts before school on his b-day. I didn't want to make him have to wait until that evening when Steve was home from work, so we did it all before he left and before the girls went to school.

The Gibsons gave him a cute little toolbelt full of tools. Jason carries this little hammer with him EVERYWHERE! He likes to "bam, bam" on anything and everything.

The girls each got a Jessie doll for their birthdays and Jason would carry those things with him everywhere, pulling the string to hear her talk. So, naturally, we thought he'd love to get the Woody doll. Well, he gave it about 2 seconds of attention and hasn't really played with it since...he greatly prefers the hammer! (he is SO his daddy's boy!)

After trying a few times, he finally figured out how to blow out the candles.
Whenever we get donuts from the store he wants one with M & Ms and sprinkles (too bad for him they don't make that combo on one donut) so I decided that his birthday cake would be just what he loves. He picked all the M & Ms and sprinkles off, ate those, and left the cake...silly boy!

The Saturday after his birthday we invited a few other families to come celebrate with us at Chuck-E-Cheese. This was the perfect place for Jas...skee BALL
Falling BALLS

Basket BALL
They also had a footBALL game but I don't have a pic on here of that one. Jason found one of the footballs and took off with it. He wandered all over Chuck-E-Cheese with it!

He did find time to do a few other games too...
The girls had a blast too and it was hard to keep track of them because they couldn't stay on one game for more than a minute before they were off to find another one.
Jas did very well at his 2 year check up too. Perfectly healthy physically and mentally. He came in in the 30th(ish) percentile in all his measurements-that would explain why none of the 2T clothes I got for him fit him yet :D He is talking up a storm-he's VERY animated, he uses hand gestures and everything. If he's talking to you and you don't respond he'll say, "Dad, I'm talkin to you!" until you reply-so cute! He still loves to play basketball, catch, football. But he has also discovered a love for coloring (especially on our walls-UGH!) and Mickey Mouse Club House. He is as independent as they come. If you try to do something for him he'll yell at you, "I DO IT!!!" and then do it over from the beginning. But we love him anyway. He gives the best hugs and (s)mooches and he has a smile that will melt your heart!

We love you Jas!!!!
