Our Big Girl

NURSERY

Well, it's official, Abi is now a Primary girl. Today was her first day in nursery and she did great! I took her up there to drop her off and she ran in the room toward the toys and left me in her dust. I tried to say goodbye to her, but she was already too busy playing with her friends. When I went to pick her up she was the last one there and she was still just as happy as can be. I can't believe she's already old enough to be in nursery. I think Steve enjoyed church a lot more than he has since he actually got to go to his classes and listen (he is usually wrestling with Abi in the halls since I'm in the primary). I tried to ask Abi what she learned or did in nursery and she didn't respond, so I'm not sure, but I do know she liked it since she was so happy! I'm glad that she has such great friends in our ward already due to playgroup, I'm sure that made today a lot easier for her.

FUN FAMILY OUTING

Yesterday after Steve had studied for his CPA exam for hours and hours we decided to get out for a bit since we were all getting a bit of cabin fever. We went to a nearby park, Cranberry Park, so Abi could get some of her energy out. We had a great time. Abi loves the slides, she does them all by herself. She also learned how to climb this rope ladder thing by herself. She just ran up to it and started climbing without any trouble. (I have decided she must have evolved from monkeys, along with her cousin Aubrey, because they sure do love to climb!!!) It was so humid yesterday though, so we didn't last a very long time since we didn't want Emma to melt away. Abi was sweating like crazy when we left, she had a fun time running around.

Emma slept through the whole thing, but she did a great job keeping track of Abi's soccer ball. Emma is such a good little baby, we are so happy that she has joined our little family.
