Our little Angel

I just have to share the cutest little thing that Abi did last night. We are trying to get her off of her bottle at bedtime so her teeth don't rot, so we decided to try a new bedtime routine last night. At about 7:30 I gave her a sippy cup with some milk in it so she could have something in her tummy when she went to bed. Then we brushed her teeth and we came out to the living room to read a book with her. Steve said to her, "choose a book and we'll read it to you and then we'll have prayer before bed." Abi jumped off the sofa to get a book, or so we thought...but instead she folded her arms and knelt down on the floor for prayer. It was so sweet. We worry so much about what we teach our children and how well they absorb what we try to teach them and last night was just a sweet little experience and reminder how important it is to keep teaching them these things even when you don't think they're getting it...they really are!

Oh, and by the way, Abi didn't even make a peep when we put her to bed without her milk, what a little angel she is!

Wow, what it must be like to have a child so sweet. Miles uses prayer time as an opportunity to abuse us. We can't see it coming because our eyes are closed, and we generally don't fight back. Wanna trade?

How cute. I think she is one of the cutest little girls. It is fun to see how fast they learn.
