Sherwood Island State Park
We finally had the opportunity to go to the beach where we could swim and play around for a couple of hours yesterday, it was so fun! The girls and I went with a few friends from our ward and we had a blast. It was the perfect day too, it was probably mid 80s and not really humid at all, so it felt really nice.
At first Abi was just content playing up on the beach digging in the sand while Emma was content just hanging out in the stroller (it was too bright and sunny otherwise for her).
Eventually I was able to convince Abi to go down to the shore and play where all her friends were. Once she got down there she had a great time throwing rocks and seashells into the water.

Poor Emma, after we had been there a while she was starving and I had to keep Abi from running out to sea, so this is what we had to do with Emma. She probably feels so neglected!
All in all, it was a great day. We were needing something to do because Abi was getting cranky just sitting around, so thank you Monica for inviting us!

Looks like fun! We are excited to see you guys next month! I'm glad you are staying so long! I used to visit my folks in Missouri for weeks at a time. It's nice when you don't have kids in school...you can do that! Take advantage. Renae said you might stay until Labor Day! YEA! Let's do some boating! Jill
