Oh, my first born is the BIG 2!!!! I can't believe my little Abi is officially a toddler now. We had a fun day today for Abi's birthday-we started out with some birthday pancakes-I made it in the shape of a heart, but it was a little deformed. Abi didn't care though, she dug right in...and when she was reminded that they were for her birthday she had to go get her crown and wear it while she ate.

We also went to play group to play with her friends. I was thinking of trying to take her somewhere different for her birthday, but then I thought she'd probably have more fun playing with her friends than sitting in her stroller at a museum or something. We had a great time.

After dinner I decided it would be fun to make rootbeer floats for dessert. She's never had one before, so what better day to try one than on her birthday...to say she liked it would be a MAJOR understatement. She was in heaven! Oh, and again she had to wear her crown while she ate, she loves that thing. Anyone that called to wish her a happy birthday today had to hear about her crown.



Once bedtime came around she was on a bit of a sugar high, but she sure looked cute in her new jammies (thanks Grandma and Grandpa Lloyd).

We love our Abigail Mary soooo much! We have been so blessed to have her in our home for the last two years. We love watching her grow and learn everyday. It seems like she is constantly discovering new things. She is such a good girl! She has truly blessed our lives in ways we didn't know possible.
