Abi has a new book that she loves to read called "The Snowy Day" by Ezra Jack Keats. Well, she got to experience her own snowy day on Friday. We woke up to a few inches of snow that morning with it still falling. Since this was really the first decent snow fall of the year Abi's really never been able to go out and play in it-we didn't even have any snow pants or gloves for her. After a trip to Sports Authority (awesome clearance prices by the way!) and a nap, Abi got to go out and really enjoy the snow for the first time...
When I first put her in the snow she was not happy, it took her a bit to feel comfortable walking in it.
But eventually she really started enjoying herself.

We had a great time playing out in the snow and then went in and made popcorn and cocoa-what a fun day!

I love that Keats book. It looks like Abby really loved the snow. Isn't it fun when they can really get into it?
