8 years!

What a cute couple!

It's hard to believe, but Steve and I just celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary on the 25th. It has been a wonderful 8 years together, full of lots of fun and excitement, challenges, and happiness. Here are some fun facts about our 8 years of wedded BLISS! :)

~We got married in the Salt Lake Temple on May 25, 2000.

~During our reception at Carmelle Wedding reception, a tornado rushed past us and up Highland Drive by the Cottonwood Mall. Made for some wet visitors at our reception.

~We went on our honeymoon to Hawaii-we started off in Kauai for a few days and then on to Waikiki.

~We have lived in 5 different places, including a short stint at Steve's parents before we moved out here to Connecticut.

~We were both in school still when we got married-I graduated from SLCC with an Associates in General Studies and Steve graduted from the University of Utah with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and a Master's degree of Accountancy.

~Some of our most memorable vacations we've been on together include: Waterski trips to Lake Powell and Lake Mead, a trip to Orlando with Steve's family, an educational trip to Williamsburg, VA with my parents, Fiesta Bowl to watch our Utes have a completely undefeated football season, and a trip to Disneyland with Steve's family that also included watching Utah play UCLA where we got to see some of my family too, and most recently a trip to the Outer Banks with some friends.

~We have done our part keeping our health insurance companies busy-Steve dislocated his shoulder and I had to rush him to an insta care in Park City to have it popped back in to place. My history has been a little more exciting, here's the list in cronological order: 3 miscarriages, gave birth to Abi, had my gall bladder removed, gave birth to Emma, had appendicitis and my appendix removed.

~We have 2 beautiful little girls that we love more than we can even express.

~Some of our favorite things to do together include waterskiing, golfing (we haven't done that since the kids were born-we need to go again), going to Utah football and basketball games, fishing-well, that's more Steve than me, camping, and now taking our girls to explore new places.
