Happy Birthday to my baby!!!!

WOW!!! Where does the time go? I can't believe my little Emma Lu turned one today! She is such a sweetheart and has been such a blessing in our home. Even though she came a bit sooner than we had planned, I wouldn't change a thing...she came into our home right when she was supposed to.
Here she is one year ago today, what a CUTIE!!!
My, how she's grown.

We had a fun day today celebrating her birthday. We let her open one present this morning, she had lots of fun doing it...Steve had a little time off that he had to use up by the end of the month, so we were able to go out and have a good afternoon with the birthday girl. We went to Palisades Mall and did a few different things...

We started off with some bowling at Krazy City-mainly Abi and Steve, Emma cried because of all the noise, so I held her...She finally let me put her down for a few seconds so she could dance to the great music.

A STRIKE!

Then we went and drove the cars...this was Emma's favorite part, she loved playing with that steering wheel! Then we took the birthday girl to Cheesecake Factory for dinner. We didn't get to stay for some birthday dessert because Abi was OUT OF CONTROL!!! But our food was yummy!

When we got home we let her open the rest of the presents she received from our great family...she wasn't as thrilled this time around, she was wiped out! Check out those crocodile tears! I'm sure she'll be much happier tomorrow playing with all her cool new stuff once she's had a good nights sleep.

Thank you everyone who sent Emma a gift, or called her to sing Happy Birthday to her! We really appreciate the love you show to our little angel.

We love you Emma, Happy 1st Birthday!!!

Sounds like you guys had a fun filled day, the girls probably slept really well that night. We miss you and wish we were with you guys in person to celebrate, but for now, blogs will have to do.

What a fun birthday! First birthdays just seem so special because it's so easy to look back just one year before they were born and boy how life has changed. She is super cute! Happy first birthday Emma!!!
