They say that playing is actually work to kids, so today we decided to have a take your daddy to work day. He had a bit of a slow week at work so he decided to take the day off of his work to play with us today.
We went to the NY Aquarium again since Steve hadn't been there yet. It was pretty overcast today and a bit chilly so it was not very crowded-PERFECT for us.
We got there right as the sealion show was starting and there was no line, so we decided to make that our first stop. It was a fun little show-Abi was getting really into it, she was scared at first when the sealion cam out, so she stood behind me the whole time, but she was clapping for the seal the whole time.
I'm not sure what Abi was explaining to Steve, but it sure looks interesting.
I love watching these tricks, so fun!

Emma loved being with daddy.
After the aquarium we got some lunch at TGI Fridays and then made the long drive home while the girls slept in the back seat.
It may not sound like much, but it was so fun to have Steve around today. Abi just loves playing with her daddy, so this was her perfect day! Plus we still have Saturday tomorrow to play some more!

it must have been offical take the day off on friday. Steve, Jason and Shawn were all home during the day. What a fun thing to do every once in a while.
Isn't the Aquarium fun!I'm glad Steve was able to take the day off. I need to convince Rob to do that more often! We certainly look forward to the weekends when we get some daddy time. Then it's playtime all the time.
