"I made it to the Temple!"

Friday we decided to take Abi and Emma down to Temple Square so they could see the beautiful Temple grounds. When we got there Steve was walking with Abi when she turned to him and said, "I made it to the Temple!" so sweet-and so profound. We had a great time there, the girls were so happy to run around, see all the fountains, splash in the reflection pond, and see the "golden Temple" as Abi referred to it. Again, we got lots of pics that I just couldn't narrow down, so sorry about all the millions of pics below...
Our first stop was the big fountain, Emma was happy to get out of the stroller and run around.

Abi ran away as soon as the fountain turned on.

Steve is a pretty creative photographer.

Then we reached the reflection pond. Here's Steve putting his shoes back on after I told him it wasn't a wading pond! :)

Ok, ok, he was really just snapping this photo.

The girls had fun running around it (see the conference center in the background?)

and putting their fingers in it...

And then we saw the Temple. Abi loved this part, she kept calling it a white castle until we actually got there and now she will only refer to is as the Golden Temple.

It was so perfect to have Steve with us-we love that he's not working right now!!!

so fun! It is fun to have your hubby back and you deserve it. I think Parker would have jumped right into that fountain.

Can you just imagine being their age and seeing that HUGE pond on Temple Square? I think I would have had heart faiure if I had been 3 or so and shown that place! I wouldn't have been able to stay away from it! SO many kids are going to have fun memories because of that pond!
