Sorry I've been a little absent lately-it's been a pretty crazy week and a half. But with all the running around we've been doing, we've found some time for fun. Next week we get to finally move into our new place, so hopefully once that happens things will calm down a little.
But, as far as what we've been up to the last week and a half: lots of errands, getting some new furniture, finding an apartment, buying a lot of cleaning supplies and such that we weren't allowed to pack on the moving truck, etc. We've also found time to play-we went to Fashion Place Mall one day and the girls wanted to play on the little car things that you put a quarter in and the move and play music-pretty cheap entertainment.
Then, last Saturday we watched the Utes beat Michigan-GO UTES!!! Kat and her family came up to my parent's to watch it with us. The kids played outside the WHOLE time. My mom put some sand in a little box along with some rocks and such and they were entertained for hours. We also go out the little pool and Zach and Abi fished in it for a while.
For Labor Day we were a little limited as to what we could do since it was 45 degrees, rainy/hailing, extremely windy. We kind of wasted the first half of the day, but the sun came out in the afternoon so we decided to hit up the zoo. We had a great time. This is the perfect zoo I have decided...it's just the right size, the animals are close enough together that the kids aren't loosing interest in between, and the exhibits are small enough that you can always find the animals. It was so fun that we decided to buy a season pass-if anyone's interested in going, just give us a call and we'd be happy to come along.
Also, Steve started his new job today. It's been about 2 weeks since his last day at PWC, I think he was excited to get back to working. He enjoyed it, we can't wait until we're living within walking distance of his office-NEXT WEEK-YEA!
