Well, moving here to Utah forced me to get a new Pediatrician, Dr. Paul Wirkus. I told him about Emma's potty woes and he told me his solution for the problem-Chocolate Ex-Lax for 3 days
and then 1 TBSP of Miralax everyday.
It has been a MIRACLE to say the least! It's been just over a week and Emma has been regular and loose as a goose since day 1! These two little medicines have changed her life. No more screaming, bleeding, pushing like crazy, etc. She is a happy girl again! So, if you or anyone you know needs some "relief," go get this little coctail of laxatives and things will be ok.

I am so glad he got something for her that will make her better! Its a simple solution even, which is even better!
Just a note - I don't know how long he wants her on the miralax, but depending on your insurance there is a rx for the generic available, might be listed under polyethylene Glycol or Glycolax... Its much less expensive than the brand Miralax.
Three cheers for chocolate Ex-Lax! The suggestion has helped Lydia, too.
Once again, Elder Kailing, if you are out there somewhere reading this, sorry about the Ex-Lax cookies we made you!
Glad everything is moving better for her. Whew!!! Where is your elusive playlist????
Oh, okay I found it. And it ROCKS!!! I did not think of 311 songs, I will have to update mine.
We take the kids to Dr. Wirkus, too! We LOVE him! And Eldean is amazing, too. Unfortunately, these days she's so busy you'll only see her when the kids get shots! Darn it! But, she's always great at answering questions on the phone! We had Gregory on Miralax for a while, but then we switched to Nouriche yogurt drinks because it was cheaper. Yoplait stopped making those, though! Good thing Greg no longer has that difficulty! So Emma will eventually outgrow it!
I've been meaning to tell you that I really appreciate these posts with info on this particular problem. My Sweetie suffers from the same thing and we've been going back and forth on several options. Some success but still lots of problems. Good to hear some positive solutions you've found :)
