Not another Nor'easter!!!

A few months after we moved to Connecticut 4 years ago we had the "pleasure" of experiencing our first and only Nor'easter. It dumped about 2 feet of snow on us in less than 12 hours-CRAZY! Well, when we moved here to Pennsylvania we were told by many people that it hardly snows here and we're lucky to get one or two small storms before February. I'm not sure if we attract this kind of weather or what, but yesterday we got to experience our second ever Nor'easter! A FOOT AND A HALF IN LESS THAN 12 HOURS! It was great though, a Saturday where we had no where we had to be. The girls and Steve were out playing in the yard before 9am. We had cocoa to keep us warm. The power and satellite never went out all day-a big plus! Abi learned how to shovel a driveway and LOVED it! All in all, it was a pretty great day. And now today the sun is shining, the snow is beautiful, and church was cancelled because of the roads were still impassable.

Steve enjoyed giving sleigh rides to the girls and they absolutely LOVED getting those rides!

The canvas top to this canopy ripped under the weight of the snow so we had to cut it off before it continued to bend the metal frame-we tried just cleaning the snow off but is was coming so fast that it was impossible to keep it clear of snow.

And this is the beautiful winter morning we woke up to!
