We were so happy when he entered our family. He didn't even cry, he was just pleasant and happy, just like he is today.

He made it through some times, but came through just as pleasant and wonderful as the day he was born.

He always has a smile on his face.

He has discovered a LOVE for ice cream! (He takes after his mommy!) He also loves Cheetos-we've created a MONSTER!

Loves to play with his sister. Sometimes they knock him over, sit on him, or hit him with their toys...he may cry for a minute or two, but then he's right back in the action.

Still smilin'!

Always learning new talents. This is one of his favorite new tricks. He also loves to play with footballs. He'll pick them up and then throw them to you and then stick his arms out ready to catch it when you throw it back. The other day he threw the football and then exclaimed, "foobah!" HIS FIRST WORD! (well, I think it is, it sounded SO much like football)

Here are a few Jason facts at ONE year:
- We just moved him up to size 4 diapers
- He's in size 12 month clothes-the pants are a little big on him still, but he'll get there
- He still only has TWO teeth. My girls had ALL their teeth (incl. molars) at this age. I wish he would hurry up and get more so I can have more options of what to feed him-he's getting sick of baby food.
- One of his very FAVORITE things to eat are bananas
- He can't walk yet, but he can stand and walk along things. He loves to climb the stairs but he also FALLS down the stairs so we don't let him on them much.
- He can do the sign for "MORE" and will definitely let you know when he wants MORE.
- He's quite lazy when it comes to his bottle. He won't hold it unless he's flat on his back.
- He still takes two naps a day-sometimes 3 if his first one is in the car while we take Steve to work and the kids to preschool-poor little guy.
- If you're holding him and he wants to go somewhere specific he'll start pointing and grunting until you go there (usually a light switch or this picture we have of Emma hanging on our refrigerator)
- He is THE HAPPIEST little one year old I have ever known! He will give anyone smiles, he'll go to other people without fussing (unless his daddy's in the room-TOTAL daddies boy!)
We love you Jasey-baby, Happy birthday!!!!!!
