So after we left the Family Living Center we ran back to the hotel for a quick bite to eat before we had to be back to the Visitors Center to catch our wagon ride that would take us on a tour of all of Nauvoo. This was a great thing to do the first day, this way we could get a bit of an overview and then kind of figure out where different buildings were and which things we wanted to see. The missionaries that were the tour guides on this were great and did a wonderful overview.
One of the missionaries took this pic for us-the first one he took had the pole going right through my head, I think that's why I was laughing, but I can't remember for sure...anyway, sorry about the weird face. And this was right at Jason's naptime so he was a bit grumpy-we still had fun though!
The Prestwich fam (minus Aubrey and plus Emma-this is kind of how the whole trip went, lots of kid swapping. But we wouldn't have had it any other way, the kids got LOTS of much wanted cousin time this way)
So cute! These girls had SO much fun together on this wagon ride (and the whole trip for that matter).
Jason was getting pretty fussy and Tim seemed to have the magic touch to keeping him happy for the remainder of the tour.
After the tour was over they parked the horses and let all the kids pet them. I think this was probably the favorite part of the tour. Even Jason loved touching the big horses.

The temple looks so beautiful! You've convinced me to think about going around this time of year instead of the summer...
